Mr Niyogi is based at King’s College Hospital in London. He provides emergency paediatric and neonatal surgical care, including major paediatric trauma. He subspecialises in lower gastrointestinal surgery, which includes surgery for refractory constipation, inflammatory bowel disease, Hirschsprung’s disease and anorectal malformation. 

 

His clinics are on the afternoons of the first and fourth Tuesdays of every month. Every clinic has eight slots that General Practitioners (GP) can book directly through NHS e-Referral Service (eRS). 
 

Mr Niyogi regularly performs major surgeries on children and minor daycase procedures. The minor procedures include tongue-tie divisions (frenotomy/frenectomy), circumcision, herniotomy for inguinal hernia, orchidopexy for undescended testis/testicles, and umbilical hernia repair. The major procedures include minimally invasive (laparoscopic) abdominal surgery, video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS/Thoracoscopy), and neonatal surgery, such as the repair of oesophageal atresia and diaphragmatic hernia.
 

Mr Niyogi is involved in managing enteral nutrition in children with complex backgrounds. He regularly performs laparoscopic gastrostomies, gastro-jejunal tube placements, and fundoplications. He regularly inserts percutaneous central lines in children, including premature neonates.
 

Mr Niyogi also provides outreach services in the following hospital, and the clinics are open to General Practitioners (GP) through NHS e-Referral Service (eRS).
